EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES EDUCATOR

We are seeking an Emergency Medical Services Educator who will play a crucial role in enhancing communication between operational staff and leadership, coordinating with external agencies, overseeing system status, managing short-term scheduling, maintaining equipment and supplies, and providing essential operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer insights to the Clinical Education Manager aimed at refining various components of the onboarding/training and quality assurance/improvement programs (this may involve updates to specific training materials, technology, and standard operating procedures).
- Effectively communicate company protocols, procedures, and standards of excellence through outstanding daily performance, positive attitude, initiative, and professionalism.
- Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Support and reinforce the objectives of the new employee orientation program.
- Identify, assess, and/or assist individuals who are not meeting or exceeding performance standards.
- Serve as an educational resource for field personnel and management.
- Facilitate the seamless transition for new hires as well as existing employees adapting to new or evolving job responsibilities.
- Direct, monitor, and evaluate all field personnel within their designated area.
- Act as a liaison with patients, public safety agencies, educational institutions, hospital staff, and other system users.
- Provide guidance and support to staff regarding operational matters.
- Engage in direct advanced life support patient care activities.
- Maintain communication with various agencies and departments.
- Participate in committees with other departments to establish policies and generate innovative ideas.
- Prepare reports and manage assigned projects.
- Be available during emergency situations or mass casualty incidents and assist as needed.
- Support educational initiatives for AMR crews and fire service partners.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State Paramedic License.
- State Driver's License.
- Two years of field experience as a Paramedic.
- Prior experience in EMS management, mentoring, or as a preceptor.
