Paramedic Educator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic Educator to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of emergency medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs for paramedics and other emergency medical services personnel.
  • Provide clinical training and mentorship to new hires and existing staff.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate company protocols and procedures to staff and stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and customer service.
  • Identify and address performance gaps among staff members.
  • Act as a liaison between field staff and management.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions for new hires and staff with changing job responsibilities.
  • Direct and monitor field staff in their assigned areas.
  • Liaise with patients, public safety agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide staff counseling and guidance.
  • Perform direct ALS patient care activities.
  • Maintain communication with other agencies and departments.
  • Serve on committees to set policies and generate ideas.
  • Prepare reports and manage projects as assigned.
  • Maintain availability during disaster situations and assist as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • State Paramedic License.
  • State Driver's License.
  • Two years of field experience as a Paramedic.
  • Prior EMS management/mentoring/preceptor experience.
