Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at TriCities Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with pulmonary, cardiac, and neurological conditions.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia or a compact state.
  • BSN degree or higher preferred.
  • Previous experience in critical care or ICU nursing preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
