Job Title: SRE for Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled SRE for Infrastructure to join our team at Vodastra. As an SRE, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating scalable and highly available infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure systems using Kubernetes, Docker, and other cloud-native technologies.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure timely and effective incident response.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud and DevOps technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering and SRE.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Java development and SRE.
  • Knowledge of Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, and other NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud security and compliance.

Location:

Remote work arrangement available until June 30, 2022. After that, the candidate may be required to join one of our locations in the Bay Area, LA, Seattle, or NY.

Duration:

Initially 6 months, with the possibility of extension for 1-2 years.

Rate:

Market rate based on years of experience.
