Position Title: Clinical Training Specialist

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday (Clinic Hours) with occasional weekends for special initiatives.

PRIMARY ROLE
Support the organization, coordination, and training of both new and current clinical staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This list may not encompass all responsibilities assigned.
1. Facilitate the training and development of new and existing clinical personnel.
2. Maintain current versions of training manuals, multimedia resources, and other educational tools for staff training or on-site reference.
3. Assist in the creation of training and assessment procedures as part of the role.
4. Organize and set up staff development programs and training sessions in collaboration with various departments, including Human Resources, IT, EHR, Risk/Compliance, and Managed Care.
5. Coordinate training classes, including scheduling, invitations, room arrangements, catering, and technical setups for clinical training.
6. Collaborate with management to conduct assessments to identify training needs based on evolving requirements and ongoing process improvement.
7. Assist in the development of training courses for the clinical department.
8. Work with the Clinical department training manager to update and maintain training guidelines used by managers during the employee probationary period.
9. Oversee the training tracking process, input data, monitor completion, and communicate certification status to managers.
10. Order supplies for training and the training department as necessary.
11. Communicate training dates, expected attendees, and follow up with clinical managers.
12. Identify and coordinate the administration of necessary vaccinations for new employees during orientation sessions.
13. Create accounts for new employees receiving immunizations.
14. Document and upload vaccinations administered into the appropriate systems.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting is required. Experience with eCW and EHR systems is highly preferred.

The Clinical Training Specialist must possess the ability to effectively communicate information and ideas, articulate clearly for understanding, and listen to and comprehend information both verbally and in writing. The individual should be able to apply general principles to specific challenges, produce logical solutions, and understand the communication of others.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION:
Must hold a valid driver's license upon hire and throughout employment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Familiarity with employee training and development is advantageous.
Strong analytical abilities to assess and enhance training programs, methodologies, and materials.

Effective instructional capabilities to apply diverse teaching techniques and adapt to various participant groups, along with interpersonal skills to collaborate with training managers and other departments. High proficiency in verbal and written communication is essential.

Proficient in utilizing computer software and technology to develop training presentations and materials.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
May involve a mix of office and remote work.
This position requires a U.S. base.
Work is conducted in a professional office environment.
The role necessitates the ability to multitask, communicate clearly and concisely, and perform data entry for extended periods.
Occasional lifting of files and boxes weighing up to 25 lbs may be required.

Manual dexterity is needed to operate a keyboard, type at a minimum of 35 wpm, and use office equipment.

The expected hourly range for this position is $21.49 to $35.81, based on various factors including education, work experience, and certifications relevant to the specific role. In addition to base salary, a comprehensive benefits package, potential incentives, recognition programs, and retirement planning are offered (subject to change).
