Job Summary

The California ISO is seeking a highly skilled Operations Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth implementation of change initiatives and projects that impact System Operators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a wide range of change initiatives that impact Operations, including PMO-related projects, standards changes, and business process changes.
  • Apply knowledge of System Operations to assess impacts on processes, job tasks, procedures, technology systems, and Business Practice Manuals (BPMs).
  • Support the change management process and act as a liaison between IT and Operations to coordinate and communicate change initiatives.
  • Work with business units to support operational procedure development and ensure System Operations usability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in process improvement activities to improve department and cross-functional processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Equivalent years of education and training, plus 2 (two) or more years related experience.
  • Requirements analysis or system testing experience. Recent utility industry experience desired.
