Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant PTA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Physioworks Silverdale PLLC. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to deliver exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer Therapy Treatments: Administer therapy treatments according to the Physical Therapist's plan of care, ensuring the highest rehabilitation standards are met.
  • Communicate Patient Information: Communicate significant changes in patient condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Participate in Discharge Planning: Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Educate physicians, patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams on patient care and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Document Patient Progress: Document treatment progress and patient information in a timely manner.
  • Use Therapy Devices and Equipment: Use therapy devices and equipment for patient care, including stretching and massage techniques.
  • Sanitize and Clean Therapy Areas: Sanitize and clean therapy areas and equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Perform Clerical Duties: Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, and completing forms.
  • Operate Standard Office Equipment: Operate standard office equipment, including computers and printers.
  • Answer Phones and Direct Calls: Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate staff member.
  • Prepare Letters and Reports: Prepare letters, memos, forms, and reports as needed.
  • Maintain Continuing Education Requirements: Maintain continuing education requirements to keep a valid Washington State Physical Therapy Assistant license.
Requirements:
  • Valid Washington State Physical Therapy Assistant License: A valid Washington State Physical Therapy Assistant license is required.
  • Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance: A valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.
