About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Subcontract Management Team Engineer/Principal Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of subcontract management principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of subcontract management expertise, ensuring that all subcontractors are properly managed and that all contractual obligations are met.
  • Develop and implement effective subcontract management strategies, ensuring that all subcontractors are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and resolve subcontract management issues, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement subcontract management processes and procedures, ensuring that all subcontractors are properly managed and that all contractual obligations are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that all subcontractors are properly managed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) with 2 years of experience, or Master's degree with 0 years of experience.
  • Subcontract Management Team Engineer: 2 years of experience in subcontract management, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Principal Subcontract Management Team: 5 years of experience in subcontract management, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Must have the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with subcontractors on DoD programs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft suite of tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Experience with engineering, manufacturing, and development life cycle.
  • Experience with cost-plus DoD contracts.
  • CAM or Earn Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
  • Experience with CAMEO/Model Based Systems Engineering, DOORs, or CPLM systems.

We offer a competitive salary range of $68,500 - $102,700, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), educational assistance, life insurance, employee assistance programs, paid time off, and health and wellness resources.

This position may offer a competitive relocation assistance package and may involve up to 25% travel.
