Developmental Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Entry-Level Developmental Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum.
About the Role:- Provide individualized developmental plans and implement therapy sessions in a 1:1 setting, focusing on teaching new skills and promoting comprehensive growth.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized therapy plans, upholding the principles of the Early Start Denver Model and maintaining fidelity to Soar's model.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, offering regular insights on their child's progress and providing guidance rooted in best child care practices.
- Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday child care moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.
- Work effectively on a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in child development and therapy.
- Genuine interest and prior experience in child care roles such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or similar or related educational experiences (e.g. bachelors in psychology or child development).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
- Ability to work effectively on a team and maintain strong relationships with families.
- $20.50-$26.00/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities.
