Job Summary:

Soar Autism Center is seeking an Entry-Level Developmental Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Developmental Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum by providing individualized developmental plans and implementing the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary caregiver for children, teaching new skills in a 1:1 setting and ensuring comprehensive growth.
Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.
Collaborate with our team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, upholding the principles of the ESDM and maintaining fidelity to Soar's model.
Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights on their child's progress and offering guidance rooted in best child care practices.

Qualifications:

Genuine interest and prior experience in child care roles, such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or related educational experiences.
Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
Ability to work effectively on a team and meet the physical requirements of the job, including sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
