Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HVAC Customer Resource Coordinator to join our team at Johnson Controls International. This role is responsible for receiving and scheduling customer calls for service, managing the schedule of assigned technicians and mechanics, and ensuring timely completion of preventative maintenance and alignment with monthly forecasting goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and schedule customer calls for service, ensuring timely completion of preventative maintenance and alignment with monthly forecasting goals.
  • Manage the schedule of assigned technicians and mechanics, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Debrief activities of assigned technicians/mechanics daily, coordinating with technicians/mechanics to resolve concerns quickly.
  • Partner effectively with the Service Team Manager to ensure technical service work is completed in a reasonable timeframe and to the customer's expectations.
  • Analyze and assess technical team performance, adjusting as needed to enhance customer satisfaction cost-effectively.
  • Assess job completion and collaborate with Customer Billing Coordinators and Customer Support Coordinators to progress completed jobs through the appropriate business process.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, plus a minimum of 2 years of service industry experience managing service operations and/or service scheduling.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.
  • Able to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals.
  • Able to influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks/goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Candidate should possess a background in a building management system / controls industry.
  • Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principles is desired.
