Job Summary

The University of South Alabama's USA Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Director to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of USA Health Providence Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and guide the day-to-day operations of the USA Health Providence Foundation, including board management, volunteer committees, fundraising events, and collaboration with major gift efforts.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning process, oversee donor relations, and manage the successful execution of key initiatives.
  • Serve as the liaison to the USA Health Providence Foundation Board, overseeing volunteer committees and coordinating board and committee meetings.
  • Develop and execute fundraising event strategies that align with the foundation's mission and donor interests, maximizing revenue generation.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key donors, sponsors, and stakeholders, collaborating closely with development leadership to integrate major gift strategies into the foundation's initiatives.
  • Participate in donor stewardship activities, ensuring that donors feel valued and engaged, and contribute to the development and implementation of the foundation's strategic plan.
  • Support the annual and grateful giving programs, ensuring their success and integration with other foundation efforts.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of fundraising initiatives, providing regular reports to leadership and supervising team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Five years of related professional experience, with a preference for experience in higher education or healthcare fundraising.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
