Dietitian (PRN - Weekends) - Acute Care Nutrition Specialist

As a PRN Dietitian at Fairview Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing nutritional care to patients, conducting nutrition assessments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve high standards of nutritional care. This position encompasses acute care, long-term care, and outpatient clinical nutritional responsibilities, including diabetes education, community education, staff education, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
* Direct and provide nutritional care to patients under the supervision of the Operation Better Start Clinical Coordinator.
* Conduct nutrition assessments and work with the healthcare team to achieve high standards of nutritional care.
* Provide diabetes education, community education, staff education, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
* 12 years of previous hospital clinical experience preferred.
* Completed Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field and Dietetic Internship.
* LDN, MA Dietitian/Nutritionist acquired within 9 months of hire, and RD through the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months of hire.
* Must have working knowledge of diabetic, cardiac, renal, parenteral/enteral, and pediatrics nutrition.
* Must have knowledge of computer systems, telephone systems, pagers, and calculators.
