Position Overview: Environmental Specialist II
- Gather and analyze project-specific data, including assessments of water quality, surveys for protected species, review of mapping, and field studies.
- Organize and manage collected data effectively.
- Create mapping of constraints relevant to projects.
- Handle complex tasks and exercise independent judgment.
- Support public information sessions and hearings.
- Engage with regulatory bodies through presentations.
- Assist clients in navigating permit processes, acquisition, and compliance.
- Draft Water Quality Assessments and Natural Environment Reports.
- Work autonomously on projects or provide support to senior environmental scientists.
- Carry out additional related responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant technical or field experience in developing environmental documentation.
- Expertise in MS Office, GIS, and proficient environmental writing capabilities.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.

Compensation:
The anticipated annual salary for this role ranges from $82,000 to $118,375, contingent upon skills, experience, education, and location.
