The Compliance Specialist is tasked with visiting the communities we oversee, regularly assessing compliance among homeowners. This role involves driving through neighborhoods to identify non-compliant properties. For a detailed overview of the role, please refer to our resources.
Do you enjoy spending the majority of your workday on the road? This position entails inspecting residences for compliance by navigating through various neighborhoods managed by Spectrum AM. You will utilize your personal vehicle for these inspections, with mileage reimbursement provided.
Are you adept at handling challenging interactions with homeowners? This role may require you to de-escalate conflicts and assist homeowners who may be frustrated. We provide training to equip you with the skills needed to manage these situations effectively.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with homeowners regarding compliance issues and facilitate resolutions.
- Address customer inquiries by reviewing past cases, conducting research, compiling information, and ensuring clear communication.
- Enhance your job knowledge through educational opportunities and familiarize yourself with the governing documents of the associations we manage.
- Some walking may be required in specific communities.
To qualify for this position, you must possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record. While prior experience in our industry is not mandatory, we highly value self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
Knowledge Requirements
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Capable of entering data into databases and utilizing iPads.
- Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution and customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to comprehend and execute oral and written instructions.
- Customer-service oriented with the capacity to work collaboratively and maintain composure during high-pressure interactions.
