Job Title: Business Development Center Customer Care Specialist

Chapman Automotive Group is a leading automotive retailer with a strong presence in Arizona and Nevada. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Business Development Center (BDC) team as a Customer Care Specialist.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented professional to handle customer inquiries, respond to internet leads, and generate sales appointments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
  • Generate sales appointments through proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management
  • Interact with customers to identify their individual needs and opportunities for new and used car sales presentations
  • Handle incoming phone leads and follow up with leads that are not ready to make an appointment or are a no-show
  • Deliver inquiries and messages to other sales personnel and departments promptly
  • Work closely with the BDC Manager and other BDC sales personnel to ensure sales lead opportunities are accounted for and appropriate notes are made in the CRM
  • Attend product and sales training as requested by the BDC
  • Attend sales meetings and maintain a professional appearance
  • Stay informed about new products, features, accessories, and their benefits to customers
Requirements:
  • Team player attitude
  • Enthusiastic personality
  • Prompt and courteous
  • At least one previous role in the customer service industry preferred
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends
  • Must have strong typing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, in-person and over the phone
  • Eager to learn dealership best practices and advance customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills a MUST
  • Possess a clean driving record and valid driver's license
