About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in supporting our nursing staff with clinical tasks, ensuring the efficient operation of the unit, and providing exceptional care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Support the RN with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
  • Respond to the needs of patients and family members, taking a proactive role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Qualifications
  • Certification as a CNA, PCT, MA, EMT, or commensurate experience required.
  • Nursing student with completed fundamentals of nursing and clinical component preferred.
  • Bi-lingual skills a plus.
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology essential.
