Oncology Research Coordinator

We are looking for an Oncology Research Coordinator to become an integral part of our team, overseeing the management of clinical trials in the field of oncology. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying suitable clinical trials, performing feasibility assessments, screening potential participants, and providing education to patients and their families regarding the research process. Furthermore, the coordinator will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, regulatory personnel, and study sponsors to ensure that all studies are executed in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with at least two years of clinical experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree accompanied by two years of experience in clinical research, OR
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a minimum of four years of clinical experience, OR
  • Certification in clinical research with three years of relevant experience

Desirable Attributes:

  • Master's degree in a health-related discipline
  • One year of experience in oncology
  • Experience in clinical research and phlebotomy
  • Certification in research (CCRC, CCRP)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Join a Clinical Research Professional organization within one year of employment
  • Engage in collaboration with research teams, physicians, and community stakeholders
  • Travel may be necessary for participation in relevant meetings
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Exhibit the capacity to work autonomously and manage high-pressure situations
  • Maintain a detail-oriented approach and proficiency in English
  • Possess a flexible work schedule and reliable transportation
