We are seeking a highly skilled SCA Aircraft Mechanic 3 to join our team at Northrop Grumman Defense Systems. This position will be located in Patuxent River, Maryland, and will involve performing developmental, experimental, and production aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, and installation to support flight testing and fleet integration for the MQ-4C Triton.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft systems, including avionics, electrical, airframe, engine, and instrumentation systems.
- Work from technical documents, such as blueprints, engineering orders, and repair manuals, to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to identify and correct problems in a timely manner.
- Install upgrades and remove products, ensuring coordinative engineering field changes.
- Associate's degree or other 2-year technical degree in a related field and 4+ years of related experience, or additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Active DoD Secret clearance required, with ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
- Aircraft production/modification experience, with preference for Triton/Global Hawk experience, OOMA and U.S. Navy maintenance experience, and flight test experience.
