Executive Director of Health Programs

The State of Montana is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Medicaid & Health Services Executive Director within the Director's Office.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the administration of Medicaid and health service programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Lead and direct programmatic operations, coordinating objectives and outcomes with other Executive Directors.
- Supervise division administrators and Medicaid managers, overseeing a team of approximately 400 FTE.
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to challenging situations, leveraging data to inform decision-making.
- Establish credibility and build effective networks of governmental relations to support program administration.
- Bachelor's degree in business, public, hospital, or health administration; human services; health-care services; or a directly-related field.
- Five or more years of senior-level management and supervisory experience of large programs with substantial staff and budgets.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Medicaid, CHIP or Medicare, as well as experience in a medical field or health facility administration.
