Job Overview
Torch Technologies is seeking a dedicated Simulation and Modeling Specialist to join our Air & Missile Defense Business Unit. This role involves coordinating testing activities to support software releases and ensuring the success of ground test metrics.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive analysis plans and methodologies to meet testing requirements.
- Analyze test data to assess the success of various metrics.
- Utilize analytical tools to verify system and component performance against design specifications.
- Validate simulation models with real-world data through analytical tools.
- Document findings and present analysis results to both the team and clients.
- Provide insights on necessary software modifications based on analytical outcomes.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressively complex experience in software design engineering.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Familiarity with missile defense systems such as Patriot and/or IBCS.
- Proficiency in Linux, Python, and/or Matlab.
- Experience in preparing and publishing reports and presentations.
- Competence in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Skills in analyzing simulation and live mission data.
- Capability to interpret design documents and Interface Control Diagrams (ICDs).

Desired Skills
- Experience with Link-16, radar systems, and command and control operations.
- Familiarity with Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) and verification of simulation models.

Additional Information
- Citizenship is required for this position.
- This is a regular full-time role with a security clearance requirement of Secret.
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with minimal travel (0-10%).
