Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary:

AvaMed Workforce is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to inmates at a correctional facility in Chowchilla, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with supervisors, treatment team members, and CDCR institutional health care personnel to develop treatment plans.
  • Document all care provided to inmates, including face-to-face contacts and Interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings.
  • Monitor inmate progress using CDCR Mental Health approved documentation formatting for progress notes.
  • Apply community standard of practices for non-medical treatment modalities and ethical standards.
  • Perform mental status exams in face-to-face clinical interviews.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Psychologist license by the California State Board of Psychology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
