We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Training and Support Specialist to join our team at Poms & Associates. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert training and support to our staff on the use of AMS360, a leading insurance agency management system.

As a Commercial Lines Training and Support Specialist, you will be the go-to expert for all things AMS360. Your primary responsibilities will include onboarding new employees, developing and delivering training programs, providing user support, and ensuring the effective use of the system across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboarding: Ensure new employees are familiar with AMS360 and can use it effectively.
  • Training: Develop and deliver training programs to new and current staff, creating digital tutorials and documentation.
  • User Support: Provide comprehensive user assistance, identify widespread issues, and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Reporting: Serve as an expert in generating and interpreting reports from AMS360.
  • User Engagement: Regularly meet with users and management to enhance user experience, competence, productivity, and overall system success.
  • Audits: Review accounts in AMS360 to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Vertafore AMS360 Expertise: Possess a strong background in Vertafore AMS360 system, demonstrating deep knowledge and proficiency in its functionalities.
  • Proficient Insurance Agency Knowledge: Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in understanding day-to-day insurance business processes and workflows.
  • Detail Orientation: Pay meticulous attention to detail and have the ability to anticipate and respond effectively to diverse and sensitive needs as they arise.
  • Training: Preference for prior training experience in the retail insurance industry.
  • Effective Communication: Exhibit excellent oral and written English communication skills, enabling clear and engaging presentations in both in-person and remote settings.
  • Continuous Learning: Be proactive in self-learning and adapting to additional technology tools that may be required to excel in the role.
  • Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Adaptability and Growth: Embrace a flexible mindset and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • Team Player and Multitasking: Display a strong ability to work as part of a team while efficiently multitasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Tech Proficiency: Ideally, possess proficiency in various tech platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams), Zoom, Google Suite, and more.
  • Travel Capability: Be prepared to travel to local offices in Utah and NM, and attend yearly AMS conferences, and other related events if required.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity: Proven track record of maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information and consistently demonstrating integrity in all professional interactions.
