STCU is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Advisor to provide exceptional retirement and investment services to our members in the Spokane, Washington area. As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for assessing the financial goals and objectives of our members, providing personalized service and investment products, and building long-term relationships based on trust and respect.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Maintain Relationships: Meet regularly with clients, conduct branch trainings and coaching, and maintain consistent office hours at designated branches.
- Identify and Evaluate Member Needs: Assess the objectives and goals of individuals and develop an investment strategy to meet their needs.
- Meet Sales and Service Goals: Consistently achieve production, sales, and service goals set forth by the Program Manager.
- Represent STCU and CUSO Financial Services: Represent the company appropriately at all times according to NCUA guidelines in relationships with major clients, industry organizations, regulatory bodies, and other key outside parties.
- Warm Leads: Partner with retail team members and enjoy warm leads, referrals, and already-established credibility.
- Large Opportunity: Easily tap into the credit union's member base to find new clients.
- No Proprietary Products: Recommend and sell whatever products best meet your clients' needs.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: FINRA Series 7, 63 required. FINRA Series 65 or 66 preferred. State life, accident, health, and insurance licenses required. Certified financial planner designation is preferred.
- Job Experience: Minimum of three years licensed registered representative sales experience required or proven ability in a related position at STCU.
- Software Skills: Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
