We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Support Services Director to join our team at the Center for Developmentally Disabled. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing behavioral analysis services to develop individualized behavior plans for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Job Summary/ObjectiveThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments and skill-based assessments, developing and implementing individualized Behavior Support Plans, and training staff, guardians, and parents in the implementation of these plans. You will also be responsible for establishing data collection processes, gathering data on targeted behaviors, and preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct functional behavior assessments and skill-based assessments to identify individualized needs and develop Behavior Support Plans.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Train staff, guardians, and parents in the implementation of Behavior Support Plans and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Establish data collection processes and gather data on targeted behaviors to inform Behavior Support Plan development and implementation.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports, including progress notes, data collection forms, and Behavior Support Plan documents.
- Master's degree from an accredited program in behavioral analysis, education, or psychology.
- Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and MO Behavioral Analyst licensure in good standing.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in data analysis and outcome measurement, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform Behavior Support Plan development and implementation.
