Job Summary:

As a Medical Technologist at Steward Health Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients. You will be responsible for performing routine and specialized testing on patient specimens, ensuring accurate and complete results, and working collaboratively with our team to achieve laboratory goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing on all specimens and ensure accuracy and completeness of results
• Work in a team environment to accomplish laboratory goals
• Possess knowledge of medical technology and answer inquiries from physicians and other healthcare professionals
• May be required to mentor new employees and students
• Obtain and process specimens for laboratory testing according to department/section policy and procedures

Requirements:

• MLT with Associates degree
• MT ASCP/NCA with Associates degree and 2-5 years of experience (preferred)
