Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Geriatric Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Favorite Healthcare Staffing. This role offers both part-time and full-time Per Diem / PRN opportunities, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Geriatric Care LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to elderly patients in a long-term care setting. Your duties will include:
1. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
2. Monitoring patient health and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
3. Assisting with daily living activities and ensuring patient comfort.
4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
Position Details:
• Employment Type: Part-Time to Full-Time Per Diem / PRN
• Facility Type: Nursing Home
• Shift Availability: All shifts
Compensation:
• Hourly Pay Rate: $37.50
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Long-Term Care LPN in a nursing home environment.
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse License for at least 1 year.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
