Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. You will perform technical analyses and define how the system works, creating use cases and defining system interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction and design to software agile development teams
  • Perform technical analyses and define system interfaces
  • Develop and implement software solutions using Agile methodology
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide engineering support and technical direction for the implementation of a portion of the program's systems engineering program
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • Experience in Algorithm development, SIGINT, and/or Digital communications
  • Experience in the RF domain
  • Familiarity with Xmidas and Agile development as it applies to software development
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Systems Engineering leadership
  • Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
  • Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment
