Signal Software Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Signal Software Engineer to join our team at Legato, LLC. As a Signal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing signal processing software. You will work individually or as part of a team to review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results. You will also resolve software problem reports and provide specific input to the software components of system design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance signal processing software
- Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements
- Document test results and resolve software problem reports
- Provide specific input to the software components of system design
Requirements:
- Experience with signal processing software such as detectors, demodulators, protocol processors, etc.
- Experience writing software using C++/Java
- Understanding of Linux operating system
- Experience with RF includes: Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control coding, signals analysis tools, digital processing tools, and digital signal processing
- At least seven (7) years' experience in a related position
- A bachelor's degree in a related field
