Surgical Services Nurse Manager

The Surgical Services Nurse Manager at Burnett Medical Center Inc is responsible for overseeing the planning, direction, and evaluation of the Operating Room, Procedure Room, and Same Day Surgery systems, operations, and resources. This includes managing all surgical staff, sterile processing, and PACU functions, as well as acting as an OR circulator. The manager ensures compliance with policies and procedures, talent acquisition, and staff and surgeon schedules. Additionally, they maintain and review policy and procedure manuals.
Responsibilities- Plan, direct, and evaluate the Operating Room, Procedure Room, and Same Day Surgery systems, operations, and resources.
- Oversee all surgical staff, sterile processing, and PACU functions.
- Act as an OR circulator.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain and review policy and procedure manuals.
- Talent acquisition and staff and surgeon scheduling.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin (or ability to obtain).
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of operating room, acute care, or surgical services experience.
- Previous leadership experience in a similar capacity or demonstrated leadership capabilities.
