We are seeking a highly skilled Parts Sales Associate to join our team at Hills Machinery Company. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to both shop and field technicians, assisting with external parts sales, and maintaining a current knowledge base of all product offerings.
Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with parts sales, using your knowledge of product offerings to identify and fulfill customer needs.
- Maintain a current knowledge base of all product offerings, staying up-to-date on new products and services.
- Process parts orders for phone and counter sales.
- Respond to telephone inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Locate and obtain parts, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Keep the counter and parts room organized and clean, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking are occasionally required.
- Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required.
- Keying data is a repetitive motion and is frequently required.
- The position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
Training and Development
We provide comprehensive training through Case Web Academy, both online and virtual, as well as hands-on training alongside one of our experienced Parts Managers. This ensures you have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.
Requirements
- A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
- A minimum of three years' experience in parts sales and/or counter operations is required.
