About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineer to join our team in Burlington, MA. As a Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing traffic systems, including traffic signals, roadways, and intersections. You will work closely with our team of engineers and transportation planners to develop innovative solutions to complex traffic engineering challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze traffic systems, including traffic signals, roadways, and intersections
  • Develop and implement traffic management plans to improve traffic flow and safety
  • Collaborate with our team of engineers and transportation planners to develop innovative solutions to complex traffic engineering challenges
  • Conduct traffic studies and analyses to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain traffic models and simulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in traffic engineering
  • Proficiency in traffic analysis and modeling software, including Synchro, SimTraffic, and HCS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
