About the Role:
The Department of Pediatrics at the University at Buffalo is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Genetic Specialist to enhance our Division of Genetics. This division is committed to providing comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes faculty, nurses, genetic counselors, pharmacists, and metabolic dietitians. The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree or equivalent and should be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG).

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality clinical services for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with genetic disorders.
- Engage in both basic and clinical research initiatives.
- Provide genetic counseling, testing, and care coordination for patients and families at risk of genetic conditions.
- Collaborate with medical students and residents, contributing to their education in medical genetics.
