Job Summary:

The Department of Anesthesiology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to provide direct patient care to children under the age of two, as well as provide resident education and training in the field of Anesthesiology. The ideal candidate will utilize state-of-the-art equipment to monitor the effects of anesthesia and develop techniques to reduce post-operative pain and recovery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to children under the age of two
  • Provide resident education and training in the field of Anesthesiology
  • Utilize state-of-the-art equipment to monitor the effects of anesthesia
  • Develop techniques to reduce post-operative pain and recovery
Requirements:

The candidate must have a valid degree as a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and a license or permit to practice in the State of New York. Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in the field of Anesthesiology, Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology, and prior experience in the field of Anesthesiology are also required.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will be board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology and have previous clinical experience in both pediatric and adult Anesthesiology.
