POSITION OVERVIEW

Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, this role is tasked with conducting routine preventative maintenance on machinery to guarantee optimal performance.

The technician evaluates and rectifies equipment malfunctions by utilizing tools for repairs and replacing irreparable components, while also assisting the Service Manager with various tasks to ensure operational efficiency.

Given the competitive nature of this industry, work hours may vary significantly, requiring adaptability to the Company's and clients' demands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and repair all machinery in accordance with company standards, including scheduled services, daily upkeep, and compliance with all regulatory mandates.
As needed, travel to job sites to service company machinery.
Perform oil changes and filter replacements; lubricate all machinery.
Replace or repair machinery parts as dictated by the work schedule.
Engage in welding and metal fabrication – perform hard face welding on certain wear components. Repair and weld pans and other machinery as required.
Ensure all vehicles comply with DOT regulations at all times.
Be prepared to work overtime as the work schedule necessitates.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Must possess training in repair techniques, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Strong welding and metal fabrication skills are essential.
Must have a comprehensive set of tools and a toolbox. The employee will be responsible for the upkeep of these tools and their proper use.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 pounds overhead.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, in proximity to moving vehicles and machinery with operational parts.
Must be able to endure varying outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wind, and precipitation.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
