Job Summary

The Wealth Management Service Advisor is a key role within our organization, responsible for delivering exceptional wealth management services to our clients. This position requires a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to cultivate relationships and garner trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert assistance to clients with onboarding to financial planning software, via phone or in person
  • Ensure accuracy of data in financial planning software, including asset allocation, and incorporate new accounts/transitions in tandem with financial management systems
  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive financial plans by interpretation of information from client meetings, financial statements, and other relevant data
  • Be the resident expert in financial planning techniques and assumptions, updating software annually with capital market assumptions and creating models in financial planning software
  • Assist lead advisor with evaluation of current portfolios, new portfolio construction, and proposal development
  • Stay abreast of market trends and be the resident expert in portfolio holdings, popular investments, alternatives, and third-party offerings
Requirements
  • FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, financial planning, accounting, or business; graduate degree from business school a plus
  • Strong math, accounting, analytical, research, and technical skills
  • 5 years prior experience in investments/financial planning, in a similar role
  • Experience with financial planning software, including eMoney, Redtail, Wealthscape, Albridge, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
