Asphalt Project Manager

GPAC, a leading search firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to oversee all aspects of paving, site development, and pavement maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Lead and manage all phases of pavement projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, coordinating with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Budget Management: Create and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Quality Control: Monitor project quality and ensure adherence to specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Team Coordination: Supervise and support project teams, including field staff and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing effective solutions.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and compliance records.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Experience: Proven experience in project management within the paving, construction, or site development industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with asphalt and concrete paving techniques, site development processes, and pavement maintenance practices.
- Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and leadership abilities with a track record of managing projects from start to finish.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively liaising with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze project data, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management within the relevant industry.
