Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Math Instructor to join our team at Mathnasium of Oak Brook. As a Math Instructor, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and productive learning experience for students, utilizing our proprietary Mathnasium Method.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructional Services: Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students, ensuring a deep understanding and love of mathematics.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Participate in positive interactions with parents, establishing a high level of confidence and program value.
  • Digital Literacy: Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes, including online and hybrid delivery.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions, working collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience.
  • Grading and Feedback: Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework, providing constructive feedback.
  • Environment Maintenance: Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment.
  • Additional Tasks: Assist with non-teaching and instructional tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Mathematical Competency: Exceptional math competency through at least Pre-Calculus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and team members.
  • Adaptability: Ability to balance various ongoing tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method and other educational tools.
