Role Summary:
The Property Claims Field Specialist will be responsible for managing property-related claims, including those resulting from accidents and weather events. You will serve as the primary contact for clients, guiding them through the claims process while delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field inspections and assess damages for homeowners and commercial claims.
- Provide clear explanations of coverage and estimate repair costs.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the claims process.
- Work remotely while utilizing a mobile office for in-person appointments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in property claims, with strong knowledge of insurance policies and claim handling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage sensitive conversations.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and proficiency in claims management software.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and navigating various environments for inspections.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with complex claims and a background in construction.
- Familiarity with water mitigation inspections and claims software.
