Position Overview:
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating vehicles with a capacity exceeding four tons to transport parts, materials, and finished goods. Your role will involve loading and unloading cargo, ensuring secure transport, and conducting thorough inspections of the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely deliveries to all designated locations.
  • Collect materials from local suppliers as needed.
  • Pack and load products onto vehicles following company guidelines.
  • Inspect the vehicle prior to departure to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Unload goods according to client specifications and requirements.
  • Verify deliveries with clients to confirm satisfaction with products received.
  • Monitor for any discrepancies or issues during the delivery process.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and stockyard.
  • Support the Warehouse Supervisor with receiving and unloading shipments.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in all tasks, particularly in driving and material handling.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required. A minimum of two years of experience driving medium-weight trucks (stake body, 24' bed) is essential. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds is necessary. A valid driver's license is required, and meeting MVR standards to operate company vehicles is mandatory. A CDL license is preferred. Occasional overnight and weekend travel may be necessary.
