We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Custodian III to join our facilities maintenance team at Georgia Tech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing exceptional service to our staff and students, and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Assign and inspect custodial/housekeeping work and related projects/activities to maintain unit/facility cleanliness levels and appearance
• Perform specialized cleaning operations necessary to ensure unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner
• Maintain supply inventory necessary to successfully perform routine and detailed custodial services
• Respond to system-transmitted service requests
• Transport custodial employees to and from work assignments, as necessary
• Operate and/or maintain assigned power equipment related to custodial services, as required

• High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma
• Three to five years job-related experience
• Ability to follow prescribed instructions, effectively communicate, operate basic computer applications and, work independently and as a member of a team

• Must have floor experience and able to operate all types of floor equipment
• Detail oriented
• Must be able to multitask between assignments
