About the Position

The Central Operations Specialist I is a key role within Fresno First Bank, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our banking services. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to provide top-notch customer service and support to our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine operational duties, including exception item processing, returned items, ACH returns, and wire transfers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and reports, and ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with bank products and services, and maintain knowledge of relevant banking regulations and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent level of experience and industry education.
  • Minimum 2 years of banking experience and/or education/training, with a focus on financial institution clerical and/or branch support.
  • Basic knowledge of bank operation activities, terminology, and products and services.
  • Basic skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation, host computer system, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to balance bank accounts and general ledger accounts, and provide exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and interpret documents.
