Lobel Financial, a leading auto finance company, is seeking a skilled Loan Collections Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our collections team, you will play a critical role in securing payments from delinquent customers, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collection Management: Effectively communicate with customers to secure payments, commitment agreements, or establish repayment plans.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional and empathetic customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all interactions.
  • Communication: Utilize phone and email to communicate with customers, documenting all interactions accurately.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to state and federal debt collection laws and company policies.
  • Account Management: Monitor and maintain assigned accounts, processing adjustments, resolving discrepancies, and serving as a liaison between creditors and customers.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Time Management: Excellent ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and account management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn company-specific databases.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and resolving issues effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in collections within the loan industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation: Starting wage of $22/hr. with potential for higher based on experience.
