Medical-Surgical Unit Leader

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Medical-Surgical unit at a leading healthcare facility near Santa Fe, NM.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of the Medical-Surgical unit, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Lead and mentor a team of nurses, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Monitor patient outcomes and quality metrics, driving initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
- Ensure comprehensive patient education and support for patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols and standards.
- Active RN licensure in New Mexico required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; Master's degree (MSN) is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical required.
- Current certifications in ACLS and CPR required; additional certifications preferred.
