Nurse Manager - Med Surg

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Medical-Surgical unit at a leading healthcare facility near Santa Fe, NM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Medical-Surgical unit, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Lead and mentor a team of nurses, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and quality metrics, driving initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
  • Ensure comprehensive patient education and support for patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols and standards.
Qualifications:
  • Active RN licensure in New Mexico required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; Master's degree (MSN) is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical required.
  • Current certifications in ACLS and CPR required; additional certifications preferred.
