Job Summary

Summary: Responsible for the final preparation of all food items served in the food-service area in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, along with our established policies and procedures. May be directed by the kitchen supervisor, relief manager, or team leader to ensure that quality service is provided at all times.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Delivers exceptional customer service by providing personalized attention to detail.
  • Participates in the preparation and serving of food and beverage items in compliance with company food standards for presentation, sanitation, and safety (meeting HACCP and OSHA guidelines) and portion control.
  • Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment utilized in food preparation and service.
  • Adheres to all safety and sanitation protocols. Transports food items to and from the main kitchen.
  • Fosters a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents, self, and staff.
  • Collaborates with staff from other departments in executing job responsibilities.
  • Contributes positively to the team; demonstrates professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
