We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Student Photo/Video Ambassador to join our team at JMU Dining. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality visual content that showcases our brand and enhances the dining experience for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our marketing goals and objectives.
- Capture and edit photo and video content for social media, websites, marketing collateral, and other marketing needs.
- Support communications and marketing goals by creatively documenting dining events, promotions, and programs.
- Work closely with our marketing coordinator to plan, create, and edit content that captures and communicates JMU Dining's story.
- Support the development and implementation of internal marketing strategies to drive meal plan sales, increase engagement, promote thought leadership, and develop brand awareness.
- Previous experience with camera/video equipment and software.
- Comfortable in a customer-facing role and confident in interacting with people face-to-face.
- Experience photographing food, people, events, and all things dining-related.
- Passionate about storytelling through photography.
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with managers, team members, customers, and parents.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize work tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to respond quickly to issues at hand with a resolution while maintaining composure.
This role may require physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
