Overview of the Role

Unit Overview

The nursing team on 2NE specializes in the care of critically ill patients suffering from medical cardiology and cardiovascular surgical conditions. Our patients face serious heart-related issues, and our mission is to provide them with the highest level of care. Common diagnoses include heart failure, myocardial infarctions, post-operative care for vascular and cardiac surgeries, and cardiogenic shock. Our dedicated nursing staff collaborates closely with cardiology fellows, residents, and interns to ensure that every patient receives compassionate and expert care.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled nursing care to patients and their families, addressing a spectrum of needs from simple to highly intricate. You will assess current and potential complex health issues within specific patient groups, critically evaluate trends and changes in patient conditions, and develop appropriate interventions, either directly or in collaboration with fellow nursing staff.

Qualifications Required
  • An ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited nursing institution is mandatory.
  • Previous clinical nursing experience is preferred.
  • A valid DC RN License and Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare providers are required.

The compensation for this position is within the range of $63,406.
