We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Clark's Oyster Bar in Menlo Park, California. As a proud member of McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality, we are committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of leading and inspiring teams. They will oversee and manage the kitchen's day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences
  • Oversee and manage the kitchen's day-to-day operations
  • Develop and implement menus and recipes to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive business growth and development

Requirements:

  • At least two years of progressive management experience in the California restaurant industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English is required; fluency in Spanish is preferred
