We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Specialist to join our team at OrthoCarolina's Ballantyne office location in Charlotte. As a Patient Services Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of patient claims.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare paperwork necessary for patient visits, including forms and documents.
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls, make appointments, and perform cashier duties as directed.
- Collect and verify patient information, including co-payments, co-insurance, and balances due.
- Follow established procedures for releasing medical information and completing FMLA/disability forms.
- High school graduate or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical clinic setting preferred.
