Position Title: Temporary Front Desk Receptionist

The Temporary Front Desk Receptionist at Kids' Corps, Inc. is integral to advancing the organization's mission of promoting the wellbeing of children and families involved in its initiatives. This role acts as the primary liaison at the East Center, delivering vital administrative assistance and ensuring smooth operational flow.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Reception Duties: Offers professional reception services, which include welcoming guests, overseeing sign-in protocols, and effectively managing phone inquiries.
  • Administrative Assistance: Organizes office supply requests, prepares the monthly parent newsletter, and aids in data entry to maintain precise record management.
  • Program Assistance: Enforces security measures, oversees incoming correspondence, supports staff with office machinery, and guides visitors and parents through sign-in/out processes.
  • Work Ethic and Practices: Upholds the organization's values, ensures confidentiality, participates in meetings and training, and seeks ongoing enhancement in job performance.
  • Recordkeeping and Reporting: Preserves organized child and family data by accurately relaying information to appropriate personnel and submitting timely timesheets.
  • Communication: Promotes effective verbal and written communication among staff, program participants, and the community, ensuring prompt distribution of information.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or experience in office administration is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Compensation Structure:

  • High School Diploma/GED - $18.49
  • Qualifying Certificate - $19.74
  • Associate's Degree - $21.02
  • Bachelor's Degree - $22.12

This is a temporary full-time role with no benefits offered.
